My Japanese school is run by a great group of volunteers, meaning that each lesson only costs ¥200. As well as giving up their time, they also arrange days out for the students to help them see more of Japan. Today, a large group of students and teachers drove up into the mountains near Gifu for a BBQ in a secluded park. After eating more than enough, we had a look round the site and walked a quiet little mountain path.
And as if that wasn’t enough, there was also an adventure playground! It’s amazing to see how adults behave once they are given a rope swing and slides to play on. So thanks to Izumi-sensei and the rest of the teachers for a great day out and their continuing efforts to educate me and many others! Benkyou Gambarimasu!
