Gifu

I found out today that I’m going to be living in Gifu-shi, the capital of Gifu prefecture. Gifu is almost perfectly central in Japan, and Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto are all under 2 hours away by train. The city sits at the base of a mountain, and has an ancient castle overlooking it. I had a look around for information, and found this site
