Samba De Amigo

We found a great entertainment place tonight. Called US Land, it’s basically two huge floors of arcade games, pool tables, table tennis, darts and karaoke. For about £2 an hour, everything’s free to play for as long as you like. The arcades included multiscreen Tekken 4, Dance Dance Revolution and, brilliantly, Samba de Amigo. This game involves shaking maracas in time with music and had a huge cult following for a time. It was never released in England, but could be imported and now the maracas sell on eBay for ridiculous prices. The game itself was great fun, but makes you look like an idiot even more than Dance Dance Revolution does.
